4th of July Fireworks at the Nail

Being a glutton for punishment, I always love heading over to the Nail
on Sunday nights to tape their weekly radio show, "Live at the Nail".  Nail owner Chris and his cohorts took turns making jokes at my expense while
I sat helplessly, trying to defend the confederacy (which I did a poor job of)
and warding off barbs questioning my sexuality (I faired so-so in this
category).

Thankfully, I had ingested numerous Bud cans that day, so my
alcohol-armor did a great job of parrying other jokes aimed in my direction.
Unfortunately, the Bud cans also left me with limited control of my
extremities, causing me to accidentally (or maybe on purpose) hit an
empty bottle and send it flying towards Chris and Co.  Chris seemed cool with
it though- I guess he's used to having bottles thrown at him.

This time around, one of the DJs (Chuck Savage) had done some homework
on Wonderjack- really surprising.  I was unaware he could read or have a
cognizant thought unrelated to sex.  Either way, I was really impressed.
He knew things about WJ that I didn't know (apparently he had read our web
site - go figure).  So we had a nice little interview, talked about Greg's
upcoming family (he and Krista are having a baby soon, in case you didn't know.  Actually, judging from Krista's size, I think she's giving birth to a
fully matured 13 year old boy, or maybe a pony), and listened to some WJ
tunes.  A great time was had by all.

Seriously, these guys are hysterical and you have to check the show out.
I had to leave early, but I was laughing the whole time I was there.  The
show starts airing Tuesday, July 13 (and it's webcast, so you can listen to
it at work, since you know you're not doing anything else there.  Don't kid
yourself).  Go to www.thenail1.com for more details, and catch us at the
Nail on July 16.  See ya then-
